
This edition assembled a group of eighty (80) singers and thirty (30) instrumentalists from the Conservatory of Trento, the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira and other Colombian institutions (with the support from the Colombian Ministry of Culture), the Foundation Esperanza Azteca from Mexico, the Miskolc Conservatory (Hungary), and Utah State University (USA). After four concerts in the Province of Trento (Tione, Levico Terme, Riva del Garda, and Trento), the Festival gave concerts in the cities of Verona, Piacenza, Cremona, Scandicci (Florence), Nola, and Rome. Vocal soloists, the choir, and the orchestra presented the Pasión según San Marcos by the Argentinean composer Osvaldo Golijov. In addition to Music Director M° Julián Lombana, guest conductors M° Zoltan Sandor and M° Sergio Bernal led the performances.
